Roman Fold Shade with Slats or Stitched

The Roman Fold Shade with slats is constructed similarly to the regular Roman Fold Shade, with an additional 20% fullness in length to compensate for the slat pockets. The design detail of the horizontal lines can be created with wood slats, small dowel rods, or simple straight sewing lines.

The Roman Fold Shade with Slats dos not have a return as part of the shade face. If specifying this shade on a window where the side of the board will be showing, the use of a short flap falling vertically from the board creates a concealed return.
Fabric shades can have a continuous cord system to raise and lower the shade at various heights. This system is typically an add-on to the cost of fabricating the shade.

Measurement Tips
• Width – Measure the width of the window and add a minimum of 1" additional. The shade board will be exactly the width specified.
• Length – Measure a minimum of 2" above the window on an outside mount to allow for the bracket to clear the window frame.
